Stephen D. Miles, CFP®, ChFC®
Stephen D. Miles is a co-founder of Antik Capital, LLC, bringing more than two decades of experience at the intersection of investment strategy, tax-focused planning, and private equity. Since beginning his career in financial services in 1999, Stephen has worked primarily with entrepreneurs, business owners, and high-income earners navigating the most complex phase of wealth creation—managing concentrated positions, illiquid assets, and significant tax exposure.
Prior to launching Antik Capital in 2026, Stephen co-founded Rubicon Capital, LLC in 2017 alongside Drew Adams, where he focused on developing and executing tax-advantaged investment strategies across land, solar, mining, and historical photography transactions. Through this work, he built a track record of sourcing and structuring investments designed to generate both economic return and meaningful tax efficiency.
Antik Capital represents a continuation and expansion of the private equity work Stephen has led since 2013. The firm provides clients and their families access to a growing portfolio of tax-incentivized investment opportunities, with a focus on aligning capital deployment with long-term wealth preservation and tax optimization.
Stephen’s approach is centered on a fundamental question often overlooked by traditional planning: how successful entrepreneurs retain more of what they build. His work integrates investment advisory, tax-efficient private equity strategies, risk management, asset protection, and strategic asset allocation. He has deep experience structuring investments utilizing federal solar programs, Qualified Opportunity Zones, and bonus depreciation strategies to enhance after-tax outcomes.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi, where he was a university letterman in football, and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations. Stephen is a featured contributor to Investment News, has appeared in the Mississippi Business Journal, and has presented at national industry forums.
